AIO Cloth Diaper

The AIO cloth diaper is probably the easiest cloth diaper to use. AIOs (All-in-Ones) are all one piece, no need to stuff or put a cover over, they are waterproof on their own.

They are very convenient, favored by “Grandma” or when someone else is taking care of your little one. Really, they are like using disposables except that you have to wash them.

But, because they are all one piece they can take a lot longer to dry, which is why the AI2 was invented.

AI2s (All-in-Twos) come apart to help speed drying times. With AI2s, you will snap or fasten the soaker part to the outer diaper cover. This then snaps off during a diaper change. You can reuse the cover and toss the absorbent part into the wash. This helps speed drying times.

Unlike some of the other systems, where you can reuse covers between washings, you will need to have enough AIOs (or AI2s) on hand to get you from wash day to wash day. This can make this cloth diapering option expensive.
